Mr. Omodamwen Osaize is a full time Bronze Caster born by Mr. J. N. Omodamwen in the early thirties, into the Omodamwen family.

This family's ancestral fathers happened to belong to the traditional bronze casting since the reign of OBA ESIGIE, (about 1504 A.D).

Art works in Benin are as old as her history. Bronze works are particularly made for the Oba who uses them to decorate the palace for the purpose of recording events and for the worship of his ancestors.
